Hay Al-Sharooq International School

Hay Al-Sharooq International School (HASIS) is an independent educational institution located in Sur, Oman. Established in 2002, HASIS was founded to provide quality education to the children of Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Company (OLNG) employees. Over the years, the school has expanded to accommodate both local and expatriate students, offering education from early childhood through to Grade 12. The school operates on a hybrid curriculum that integrates elements from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Cambridge International Specifications, the Omani curriculum, and the British curriculum. This approach aims to provide a comprehensive and balanced education to students aged 4 to 17.
HASIS is situated within the Hay Al Sharooq housing complex, which includes amenities such as villas, a recreation club with pools, a multipurpose sports hall, a park, a commercial center, a clinic, a mosque, and various other facilities. The school’s purpose-built campus, opened in 2018, spans 41,000 square meters and features modern facilities designed to enhance the learning experience.
